Hello, thanks for dropping by!

A firm believer in “doing what you love,” I create to visually enhance narrative stories using studies and design concepts of the natural world with the goal of developing concepts that engage and unlock a sense of fun and wonder in others no matter what the subject matter.

Working primarily in pastels, mixed media, and printmaking techniques, I enjoy getting my hands dirty and using the tactile qualities of the media to explore new layering methods and simply “play” with the art. This hands-on approach forms a personal connection to the work as well as the subject, and is equally a part of the experience as it is a method to record it.

I received my B.A. in studio art from Messiah College in Grantham, PA and my M.F.A. in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2018. When working in the studio, I can often be found out wandering—exploring new places and filling her mind with more wonders to inspire her work. I currently live in Deale, Maryland with my furry feline studio assistants (cats), Pepper and Jack.
